I’m new to the area, and looking for a veterinarian. Are you taking new patients?
Yes! We are always happy to have new patients.
What forms of payment do you take?
We take all major credit cards, checks and cash. We do accept pet insurance.
Do you have payment plans?
We offer Care Credit and Scratchpay which allows you to make payments.
My pet had procedures done at another hospital. Are you willing to provide aftercare?
Yes. We are glad to provide aftercare for procedures done at specialty hospitals, universities or other facilities.
How do I get my pet’s medical records transferred?
We are happy to assist you in transferring your records to or from our hospital. We can make the calls, or walk you through the process.
I’m traveling with my pet’s or livestock. Do I need travel papers?
Yes! We are happy to provide the necessary paperwork for air or ground travel.
Something is wrong with my animal. Can I speak to a veterinarian on the phone to find out what’s wrong?
We make every effort to let you speak to a veterinarian. Most, if not all, cases need to be seen to make an accurate diagnosis.
Do I need to make an appointment?
To prevent long waits, we do ask you to make an appointment. We always see emergencies without an appointment.
I like consistency. Can I always see the same vet?
Absolutely. We understand the special bond between you, your animals and their doctor.
Do you see exotics?
We do not see exotics at Headwaters Veterinary Hospital.
