Montana Lab Gets Saved

In early July, a wonderful yellow lab was brought to us from Butte, Montana.  He was struck on the interstate and did significant damage to his tibia (shinbone.)  His repair was achieved using minimally invasive plating. The plate is slid under the skin and soft tissue without exposing the fracture.  This preserves blood supply and beneficial cells at the fracture site.  Check out this happy dog when he came back a week later for a bandage change!
